Letter from Founder, David Norton

First and foremost, I hope you and your loved ones are healthy. Covid-19 has literally turned the world upsidedown. It is undoubtedly a scary time and it is impacting everyone, everywhere.

As you may, or may not know, I am a one man show at Lemon & Line. People often think we're a large company - truth is, we're not. We're highly seasonal and I hire around 6 staff in the summer to work my two retail stores. Aside from that, its me. I personally craft most every piece we sell. I personally pack every order and I personally bring them to the post office. The emails you receive are me. The pictures you see are taken by me. The products are designed by me. Lemon & Line is the very definition of a small business. I am proud and humbled at what I have built over the past ten years.

The unfortunate reality is what has taken years to build can be torn down in a matter of days/weeks. Despite what you hear on CNN or Fox News, there is no "bailout" for small business.

So, as I sit here homeschooling two children using district mandated "distance learning," I am also trying to figure out how I keep Lemon & Line afloat, how I pay my bills and how I keep food on the table. Horrifying at best. Sleepless nights are the norm. I am hopeful the amazing community we have developed will help us weather the storm.

A few incentives out there in hopes you'll consider helping.
Join our new Rewards Program: $10 for siging up and earn points for even more $ off
• Join our new Referral Program: Give $10, get $10 . Refer a friend, give them $10 and you get $10 too!

If you are not in a position to help, I most certainly understand. Heck, I apprecaite you reading this far in the first place! I am confident this too will come to an end, but in the meantime keep your heads up & stay healthy. Sheet on, weight up - through the fog, there is sun.

Cheers to you all and, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
