Letter from Founder, David Norton
Covid-19 hit Lemon & Line hard. Like smashing an unknown object at sea in the middle of the night. Dark. Fear and rising water. Forced store closures, travel restrictions, less people shopping - down 50% overall. The story of sinking is far too easy though and a good captain surrounds himself with an even better crew.
That crew is each and every one of you. Some of you have purchased products, others have offered words of encouragement and support. I really can not begin to tell you how much it means to me. This is the time of year to give thanks and from the bottom of my heart - THANK YOU. Thank you for being there for us. It isn’t something I’ve taken for granted and I never will. I’m humbled daily.
We will not give up this ship. Not now - not ever. We’ve used the past 7 months to focus on who we are as a brand. We’re resilient. We build products that can weather any storm and we will do just that. We have redesigned our flagship location, crafted new products, launched a custom bracelet program and continue to set the bar in our category.
We’re about to enter a most bizarre holiday season. It may sound like a bit of a broken record by now . . . but this year think small. Not just Lemon & Line - all small business needs support now more than ever.
We are not all in the same boat, but we are in the same storm and together we’ll all get through it.
Cheers, & stay the course friends. Through the fog, there is sun.
